I am a happy and outgoing 3yr old. I love all kinks of animals but i hope one day to have a puppy dog. My favorite color is purple but I love pink as well. In the summer time you can find me mostly in my bathing suit as I love to swim. Mommy says i look like a fish when i swim under water. I love to sing and dance as well. Something I do every single day when Im feeling well.
One thing Im sad about alot is that I have lost my hair. Mommy said its ok and I am still beautiful without it. Its gross when she has to put that lotion on my head when I go outside, but mommy said it helps it from getting hurt from the sun. I wish my hair would grow back I do get sad about it. I don't like when people talk about my hair being gone and I get shy and hide. I ask my mom when will my hair grow back. Mommy says it might grow and it might not, but if it doesnt we will get a wig and someday ill have alot of them and can change my hair color and style when ever I want to and not have to wait for it to grow back. Until then i love the hats my ohma and grandma Erin have made for me and the hair bands a nice lady that her daughter has the same thing as me has made. They are so pretty.
Things Paige has delt with so far
When Paige was a new born she was diagnosed with ~Eczema. We figured it wasnt bad eczema is dry skin right? Wrong..not for everyone and not for miss Paige as a baby she had severe eczema. She had large open sores that would seep and puss. We had to keep a steriod cream on hand to make sure it didnt get bad like it had several times. Her head was the worst almost her whole head was covered in this big open wound. All we could do was keep meds on it and keep it clean. She fought this up until she was about a year old. She on occasion has a few spots here and there but no where near as bad as she did as a baby.
Just before Paige turned a year old she started to have Passing out spells. Where if she got hurt or upset she would hold her breath turn blue and passout. It looked like she was having a seizure and believe me it was very scary. The first time I called 911 and they thought she had a seizure until one of the EMT's said it kind of sounded like his son had done. She had many of the spells it would make her very tired after she had one. She now at 3yrs old have not had one in a little while, but she still comes close.
When Paige was 2 years old she was diagnosed with Asthma. She can be set off by pretty much anything but colds and crying are the worst. She has to have nebulizer treatments every four hours when she has a spell. She has nearly been hospitalized and put on oxygen at one time due to a cold and asthma attack making it difficult for her to breath. For the most part it is kept well maintained.
at age 3 paige was diagnosed with something a little more personal with her female parts. We will not get into that, but they wanted her on hormones and we decided at her age hormones was not a good thing to put her on. They say it might work itself out as she matures.
again at age 3 paige was diagnosed with her alopecia. This site is all about her alopecia so i dont need to get into details with that, but later in her diagnosing she was also seen to have vilitigo(spelling?)
where her skin pigment has been lost and has white blotches all over her body, for her though she only has a smaller nickle size one right now on her chest.
